find below the steps:
1. login into your dashboard
2. click on settings on the left had side
3. click on discussion settings
4. when in discussions settings, move down to where it says before a comment appears.
5. tick the 2 boxes where the say an administrator must approve the comments and comment author must have previously approved comment.
So this will allow you to control spam comments, before they are placed on your blog, if you don't like the comment you can alter it or even delete it.
