What you can do is:
1. Put your dog on a leash
2. Grab some treats
3. Take your dog to the road
4. Give your dog a treat every time he/she doesn't move or lunge at cars
5. Keep doing this for a couple of days
6. Your dog should then learn when it gets to the road he/she should sit and stay still.

∙ 15y agoPut your dog inside when you leave or hitch it. If it is following you down the road it's possible that it could follow other cars as well and might be in danger of being run over.
