The most effective and accurate way is to take it to a local reputable auto repair facility that has an alignment rack. Have them do a complete alignment. Your steering wheel should be straight after.

You need to remove the steering wheel. The switch is located below the steering wheel.

The steering wheel will have to be removed, turned to the proper place, then reinstalled. If there is an air bag system it will have to be disconnected first.

Have the front end aligned.
There will need to be an alignment done on the vehicle to straighten the steering wheel properly. The adjustment to make it straight is called a "toe Adjustment". If it pulls while driving causing the steering wheel not to be straight it will need a Caster or Camber adjustment or all of these may need adjustmnet.
if you have the steering wheel controls, that arrow on the lower right side will reset it.

It's your upper steering shaft. Either take it off and grease or replace it.
high pitched squeal from left front wheel does not stop when I apply the brakes. It will stop when I turn the steering wheel even a little bit but returns when I straighten out again
