If u hav really thick hair section your hair into parts, three different parts preferably. Just section it up evenly and clip up the hair at the top and straighten the bottom hair that was left. Since you have thick hair use it at the hottest level.
By the way... U should try thinning out your hair
Just grab any shaving razor, section your hair, grab a piece of hair, start at the top of the piece and slide the razor down to the bottom. Do this piece by piece to your entire hair... Look it up on YouTube for more info
