Log in. In the upper toolbar click submit-> submit art. Follow the online directions. If the piece is of a certain file type, or a certain size of a file type, you might need to upload a preview image. Save a image as a jpeg for this.

Most drawings are of a file type that can be supported by DeviantArt without needing a preview (jpeg, PNG, etc.). However, some file types or certain sizes of some file types need a preview, particularily GIFS. If this tires you, try saving the image as a jpeg first.
