How do you supercharge a ATV engine?
There are kits on the market for many models, you just need to search for your model.
Roughly $5000-$6000 Raptor offers one in AU (not sure about overseas shipping) www.raptorsc.com.au Alternatively you can go to certain speed shops that do custom engine builds/turbo builds/supercharger builds who will provide you with one. Keep in mind that if you do choose to supercharge a lancer GTS you will have to upgrade the brakes as well as other internal engine components to compensate for the added power
The KTM 450 XC ATV is a Sport Style ATV equipped with an 447.9cc, liquid cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with front and rear disc brakes. The XC ATV 450 has a Double A-Arm front suspension with 10.2 inches of travel while the rear suspension has 10.4 inches of travel. The 450 XC ATV was introduced in 2008 for cross country racing.
Start the ATV up and ride it or let it idle for a few minutes to war the oil up in the engine. Then kill the engine and loosen the drain plug on the bottom of the engine. Let all of the oil drain out and replace and tighten (careful to not overtighten) the drain plug. Remove the filler plug and add your oil.
yes you can supercharge anything it just depends how bad you want it to happen. all you would have to in make a custom intake manifold for whatever kind of car you have.. make sure the supercharger is in line with your belt system and it would work. you would probably have to change your fuel injecters and fueling system but its very possible to do... im workin on superchargerin my dodge neon lol
