If you're healthy (and, most importantly, don't have heart disease or Diabetes) surviving three days without food is not a problem, assuming you're drinking water. At the time I'm writing this, I haven't eaten in three days, but I've been drinking several liters of water and unsweetened tea every day. I feel fine - just a bit tired and weak. As long as they have water, people can survive months without food, but anything past 3 weeks puts you in the danger zone.
