I believe you mean to switch your active Neopet. To do so, go to a page and click on your pet's name. There, hover over the white arrow next to your your other Neopet's picture (arrow on the left) Or, click below.
This is also useful for getting the Meuka! avatar and the Meuka Battledome challenger. When your pet has NeoFlu or Sneezles, visit your Quick Refrence, and you'll get him, just like that.
