How do you take Amphetamine?

Snorting (powder form) - The powdered amphetamine, or "speed," is snorted into the nostrils.

Oral (pills) - Pharmaceutics uses this method because it the only legal and the most convenient way to administer this drug. Some of the common disorders that uses this drug are ADHD and narcolespy.

Inhaling - This drug is packed into the cigarette before lighting it to smoke.

Injection (liquid form) - The most effective way to administer amphetamine, as the needle penetrates directly into the bloodstream, which travels towards the brain; providing instantaneous effects. Some areas where the needle is injected is on the arms and thighs.

Amphetamines are taken orally on a strict schedule based on a doctor's orders. Patients are monitored for possible side effects, abuse and compliance with doctor's orders.

Illegal amphetamines are taken orally, smashed into a powder and "snorted," and shot into veins. I have heard of methamphetamine (crank) being melted on a spoon and inhaled as

the vapor rises. There is no quality control on illegal drugs. You do not know what you are ingesting, inhaling or shooting.

If you feel you need amphetamine/speed...talk with your doctor. If you have taken an amphetamine and found that you focus better, you may want to mention that to your doctor so you can get a referral to see a psychiatrist who specializes in ADD (attention deficit disorder).

Be aware that your doctor may proceed with caution around you as he/she will know you are experimenting/an experimenter. This is a good thing. Doctors want to help you. Rest assured that you will be properly medically treated once you have a diagnosis.

Whatever you do...don't take anything from "the street." You could lose your life. No matter how much you trust the person who is giving you the pills, crank, whatever...you do not have sure knowledge of its contents/ingredients or the conditions under which it is made.
