Start by unscrewing the rear axle bolt then slide the axle out, the wheel should appear loose, also take the chain off the rear sprocket, also remove any brake attachments connected to the wheels hub then continue to remove the wheel.
First disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 5 minutes for the air bag to disarm itself. Remove the horn pads from the back of the wheel and take the connnectors off. Then take the horn pad off the wheel by taking out the screws in the back. Now the wheel can come off. It will take a steering wheel puller to get it off. A steering wheel pull can be got at the parts store for a deposit. Before you pull it off put a dab of paint on the shaft so you can put it back in the same position.
remove the center padded section on the steering wheel and you will see a large nut holding the wheel on, loosen the and take it off and then you will need a wheel puller to pull the wheel back off of the splines to take it off.
take the brake line out of the back of the wheel cylinder, pull the brake pads off and then take the 2 bolts out of the back of the cylinder and pull the wheel cylinder out.
take the brake line out of it and there are 2 bolts on the back of the wheel cylinder that come out and it's off.
with a punch and a hammer
take tire off, pull brake shoes off, and on the backing plate in the back of it you will see 2 bolts that hold the wheel cylinder on, take the brake line out of the wheel cylinder and remove the 2 bolts and the wheel cylinder is off.
Take the wheel Cover off.
jack up, take wheel off,take off drum cover remove 4 bolts on back of brake drum and take out axel with slide hammer.heapresto
You take the wheel off and look.
If this is the hub on the drum, comes off with a 5 lb. hammer.
If you do not how to get the wheel off, leave it to the experts. The consequences of putting it back on incorrectly could be deadly if it comes off while you are riding.
there should be a couple of bolts on the back side of your steering wheel that removes the front face and after you take that off there will be a large nut that will take off the rest of the steering wheel, but remember to disconnect the airbag before you remove the steering wheel cause you could set it off.
