How do you install a aftermarket tachometer in a 97 firebird?

What you will probably have to do is one, make sure that if your are going to put in an aftermarket tach, it is the same size if you are going to put it in the dash. Then you will have to remove the dash, (you might have to take off little plastic ring around guages) then take out tach, disconnect wires, and install the new tachometer.

How do you replace the speedometer cable on a 1987 Mustang LX 5.0?

you have to take the dash apart...that is the speedometer assembly. once you start to take the cluster off, the speedometer cable is snapped onto the speedometer. you take that apart and the cable will pull out. be sure to put your bolts that you pull out of the dash in order so you do not confuse where they go...plastic strips easily.

How do you replace the heater core in 92 dodge caravan le 33 awd and how do you remove the dashboard?

If you want to take the chance on doing so, it is easier to flush them out. It is a little risky, but way easier. other wise like you mentioned . you will have to take the dash apart. as far as removing the dash board, just start looking for screws that look like needs to be removed to taking the dash apart. just remember where they came from so you can put them back.

What do you need to put an after market stereo in a 2000 catera?

How do you replace a heater core in a 6 cylinder 1995 Plymouth Acclaim?

Say a prayer & buy some beer Best bet is to take it to the dealer. You will anyways because the airbag light will come on and need to be reset by the dealer anyway. Also, you have to take the steering colum down, the dash board out and everything conected to it. Then take out the "black box" with the heater core in it, dis asemble it, replace the heater core the put the black box together, reinstall it inthe vehicle, the put the dash back together and the steering colum. Take note where the vacuum lines go and connect them before you put the dash in. One day to take apart, one day to put together. GOOD LUCK! Go see your chiropractor when your done!

Can i put an aftermarket stereo in a 2008 Honda civic?

Yes, but you'll need to buy a dash kit in addition to the radio. You're looking at about $75 for the dash kit and another $15-30 for the wire harness, etc. Also, unless you get a double DIN radio to replace the stock one, there will be a large pocket in the middle of the dash.
