I would be very careful with this one. Vinagar is a very mild acid to say the least and can cause more stains. I have heard that stains in clothing such as blood, too use vinagar. Perhaps the person asking the question could elaborate as to all the stains vinagar takes out? it may be linked to its acid base.

water does not take out stains , mostly because of the fact that water wets something and honestly makes the stain worse, life would be easier if we could get stains out with water.
