I personally had 3 adult slugs. Unfortunately, 2 of them passed away unexpectedly. To this day, I'm really not sure how. The two died after I saw tiny, clear eggs in their tank! I suggest keeping the adults and eggs separate in different tanks because the adults might mistake the eggs for food. In the tank with the eggs, make sure you first put a layer of soil, or buy some eco earth from your local pet shop. I use eco earth for my slugs. After putting the eggs in with the eco earth or soil, add some food source so that when they hatch, they'll feel comfortable. make sure to spray the tank daily, but not to the poingt where the tank is soaking wet, as this will drown the eggs. Lightly mist it instead, and do NOT spray directly on eggs. If your slug gave birth in the summer or spring, the eggs typically will hatch in a matter of 2 weeks to a month. If the slug gave birth in the winter time, like mine did, the eggs will hatch in about 3-5 months. When your slugs finally hatch, make sure to provide food for every single one of them. Don't be upset because a few slugs WILL die. This is not caused by your bad pet caring skills. It is just physically impossible to take care of all of the 25-30 eggs. Do NOT release unhatched eggs, or young slugs into the wild, ESPECIALLY in the WINTER. They will not survive the harsh weather conditions, and they could easily become a bird's snack. Thank you for reading and have a great rest of your day!
Get a container or a fish tank and chuck in some leaves soil bark put in a small bowl of water so they can bath every day feed them luettece cabbage carrots. If you Get two or more they will breed by themselves put the eggs ( white or yellow tiny balls) you can either chuck them if u don't want them or leave them to hatch or put them in a seperate container with moist soil cover the eggs with soil and keep them fairly warm. When they hatch keep them and put them together do the same as adult slugs but with less food don't relese home bred snails because they won't beable to fend for themselves in the wild
Keep it in suitable temperature at 25 degrees C.

of course.just like ants take care of their eggs too. and the same way your parents took care of you when you were a young child.
how do you take are of lovebird eggs
No, after they have laid eggs the moths die
Slug eggs usually take about a week to hatch although they can stay in the ground for 100 days until the temperature and humidity get just right. They are clear but may get cloudy before hatching. Any age of slugs can lay eggs but the older ones lay more. Slugs do not raise their young and may eat them. To prevent this separate them from the eggs. Slugs do not have genders so any slug can lay eggs. I've hatched one generation and one just layed more so I am expecting more soon.

yes
The duck does take care of the eggs for the most part but there have been times when the drake will sit on the eggs as well to give the duck a break to go feed.
