You need to go to your pockets and then click on the picture of your person on the top middle of the screen and then there will be a suggestion saying remove headgear and then you click on that.

∙ 14y agoIf it's the one for Gamecube, you can't. For Wild Wrold on the DS, go to the pause menu and go to your character. Press A and it will say "Remove Hat". Then you can romve it.

∙ 12y agoonce mario gets 99 lives he will take his hat off, if you get 99 lives(maximum amount of lives allowed) during a level, he will not take it off until you START a level with 99 lives.
