well the easiest way that i have found to remove a starter is to UNHOOK BATTERY CABLES THEN UNBOLT THE STARTER FROM THE MOTOR YOUR HONESTLY A DUMB A@@ for asking this
What solonoid?? If it is the starter solnoid, you have to take the starter off.
The Olds Aurora has the starter sitting inside of the engine. You'll need to take off the intake manifold to get to it, and even then its a tight squeeze. Once you get the intake manifold off it will be highly visible.
take off the belt and there is one bolt take it off and put a new one one.
First remove the negative battery cable. Then take the wires off of the starter solonoid. Then take the bolts out of the starter and remove it. Sometimes you have to take the exhaust loose to get it out. If necessary, get a manual from aparts store. It will show you how.

it is in the front on the bottom. unscrew the wires take out the two bolts and pull it away from the engine. be sure to take the battery ground off first.
Take off the glove box lid. Remove the glove box. There are three relays behind this, and the middle one (I think) is the starter relay.
Remove the two bolts holding the starter to the engine then you should be able to drop the starter down enough to take the wires off and remove the starter.
Well first you take the old one off and then you put the new one in the same spot.
get a rebuilt you will be better off
How do u know if a start went off on a 1992 Honda accord.
No...It will be a little difficult but you don't need to take the solenoid off.
