Slide a small blade screwdriver up underneath the top of the fuel line connector clips - be patient when prying the clip upwards.
Don't worry too much if the clip breaks! Just push the 'legs' of the clip up and out. This is common as the plastic/nylon is likely to be very old and are exposed to the road salts and weather and become brittle.
Note: Make sure the replacement filter comes with a set of new clips!
If you're referring to the plastic clips / tabs, the new filter will come with them.
There are two clips on the back of the filter box that you can push back away from the box. They'll pop off and the box containing the filter can be opened by pulling up on the top part that the rubber tube attaches to. These clips are metal and the entire rest of the intake track is plastic. It only takes a couple seconds to do. There are two of these clips.
There are no 'clips'. The filter is on the passenger side under the plastic cover just below the wiper. Remove plastic cover's weatherstrip; Remove plastic cover's center retaining bolt; Remove plastic cover's plastic passenger side 'screw'; Lift out passenger side cover; Filter is in the well. Pull it out. Installation is reverse of removal.
The fuel filter is located on the passenger side in front of the rear wheel. One bolt holds filter clamp. You need to pull plastic retaining clips out to remove the fuel lines. Some fuel will drain from the filter. I would suggest getting new clips at auto store. They fit 3/8" hose. The hardest part is getting the bolt back in threaded hole.
You will need to jack up the RR corner of the vehicle to reach it. The fuel filter is fastened with a big clamp to the right side frame rail, close to the fuel tank, just ahead of the RR wheel. Use a small flat screwdriver to remove the two plastic clips from the lines attached to the filter. Be careful, the lines are under pressure, and there will be fuel that will spray out as you unplug the lines from the filter. Use a flat screwdriver to loosen the clamo from the body of the filter and then you can remove and replace the filter. Install the new plastic line clips that are in the box with the filter into the lines and then plug the lines onto the filter until you hear them click in place.

Changing an air filter in a 2009 Honda Pilot is simple to do. First raise the hood and find the air filter box. There will be clips holding the box closed, remove the clips and open the box to reveal the old filter. Replace it with a new unit.
If it is early 1990's the fuel filter is in engine compartment on right hand side if your looking undeer hood. It is a big silver thing mounted to the firewall. There is just 2 clips holding it on ( top and bottom) when you get new filter it will have these clips.

Easy peasy filter is in the middle rear, maybe passenger side. It is connected by plastic line that holds in with two plastic clips that snap in. Just unsnap them out and installation is a snap.
