Depends on the bike model. Many modern sport bikes have two hex bolts under the rear of the seat cushion.
You need to take the back cowling off to get to the "trunk" then take off the seat. under the seat should be the battery, just take off the two screws that hold each terminal on.
Take off the seat
It is under the seat. You need to take an Allen wrench take the seat off and you will see it.
Take off the rear seat. Take off the saddle. Battery is under there. Remember to pull off Positive first, then negative. Hope that helps.
Its under the seat. Take off the side pannels, unscrew the seat and open the battery box.
take the seat off
yes
If you're asking where the battery is on the bike. On my CBR 250 Hurricane it's under the seat, but you have to take off all the back seat and side panels to get the seat off which is a pain.
You don't have to take the seat off to get at the battery actually. there are two plastic panels on either side of the bike that cover the battery and air filter, the panels are behind your carbs. they pop off (a couple rubber nubs hold them on). you'll then be able to see the battery assembly. It slides out, you'll see it. But if you did want to take the seat off, its bolted in on either side (2 bolts total) which you will also see when you take off the side panels, seat comes off after that and then you can take the gas tank off (theres only one bolt holding it under the seat). :)
Pull off the seat, its under there.
The battery is dead, you are going nowhere so why take the handbrake off. But, if you insist, just connect a good battery to the dead battery and jump start the engine.
Take seat off. Remove rubber mask over battery. Apply charging cables to battery heads. (TAKE FIRE rubber off fire nut) Have nice day.
