When on Frostwire start-up if it says a firewall is blocking Frostwire then click un-block. Try configuring the firewall options, also. If your connection status is working (bottom left corner) then you shouldn't be behind a firewall.
After you download the contents off the internet, go to where you saved them and and run the install application.
You can't actually get a better connection on Frostwire, it justs depends on your internet. The longer you run Frostwire, though, the better the connection.

You need to locate the heater core under the dash. Find the bolts that secure it to the firewall and remove them. Take off all wires that go to the blower motor. Under the hood you need to take off the hoses that run to the core through the firewall. Then you should be good to go.

Perhaps the Mac does not meet the requirements to run FrostWire on a Mac which are: Mac OS X 10.5 or later Java 1.6 or later.
To bypass a Netgear Firewall for going to a particular website like DevianArt, a person has to turn the firewall off. This is not recommended, though. A person can go into Internet options under Privacy and Allow the DevianArt website to run without turning off the firewall.
I would suspect the relay on the firewall under the plastic cover of the drivers side.

The separation between the engine compartment, and you, is called the firewall. The Steering shaft, from your steering wheel runs through the firewall, the heater hoses run through the firewall, the power brake vacuum unit is connected to the firewall, your ignition wires etc run through the firewall.
