To remove the front wheel you will first support the bike, remove the pinch bolts at the bottom of the fork, remove the axle nut, and then the axle slides out, followed by the wheel. In order to take off the front wheel, you'll have also to remove the brake caliper and the speedometer cable. Handle the caliper carefully, avoid blows to it and hang it by a piece of string so it does not dangle on the hose which might get damaged. When assembling the front wheel, that is fastening it back in its place, there is a fixed sequence to follow. Install the brake caliper with torque of about 22 ft-lbs. Then torque the axle to the fork legs with 54 ft-lbs. Next, sit on the bike and move your body up and down so that the front forks move up and down. When you have done this you can fasten the pinch bolts with a torque of 16 ft-lbs. You must do this in order to seat the axle properly, so the front forks will not be misaligned. Be careful while attaching the speedometer cable, not to damage its housing when you tighten it in place.
It really is best to get the pre-mix from your Honda dealer. Can't go wrong with this.
Take the back seat out. Take the front seat out. Take the cover to the battery out.
About 120mph, give or take. I have the 2002, and that's about as fast as it will go.
If you change your oil regularly and keep up with all scheduled maintenance, there is no reason you can't get a Honda Shadow past +75K - 100K Miles. How you drive it will also play into that (don't race it). Remember, you take care of it and it will take care of you.
Same as anyother spark plug, 5/8 i think
