Scrape it off as carefully as possible, you will probably lose the leather gloss, but this can be restored with a little polishing.
try white spirits or steam might work
The peel has oil in it. You can shine shoes, leather , patent leather or vinyl. Just make sure you wipe off the excess and like banana-scented shoes.
Start by cleaning it with ammonia based cleaner (if the leather allows it) then dry off and buff with a polish brush. Next use Shoe Shine (not polish) to make it very glossy.
Dampen a cloth with lemon oil and rub the gloss off.
I wouldn't. Leather doesn't take well to washing. Better off taking it to a leather cleaner at the dry cleaner's

the high gloss acrylic would bead up and not give you an even application over the oil based
you get a paper towel that is wet and then . you scrub it . hard and then try to take off the oil by licking it
if u have leather bags take them off if u have a stock seat unbolt leather strap from bag mount take out bolt from rear fender pull seat straight back and up
