Most of the small Bernadelli pistols use a magazine latch at the bottom rear of the magazine. This will be slightly rounded with grooves in it. WITH YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER, pull back on the magazine latch, and pull down on the magazine. If you are not comfortable with guns, please put it in a box, and take it to a gunsmith. You will NOT be the first person to bring him a gun like that.
Any of the Military grip models will take a magazine with a longer floor plate. For example: http://www.ammoclip.com/H/high_stand_military_grips.htm
Same as High Standard model 101 .22 caliber pistol. gunclips.net has them for $35 but sometimes the after-market mags need adjustments. I'd head to the local gun show, take your pistol along and check for proper fit. Good luck!

Yes, but it will take some doing to find one.
You need to ask a gunsmith for help.
The best way to go about it is to remove the floor plate, then take out the spring and follower. If you're having misfeeds with that magazine, the most likely culprit would be either the follower, spring, or perhaps both, and it may be necessary to replace them.
