Sorry, the question should read "after replacing the gas cap" Added: It may not be the gas cap that is causing the fault. You could check for other error codes. If your sure it was an error caused by a loose or faulty gas cap you may have to take your jeep in and have the error code cleared/reset, and they could check for other error codes at the same time. Added: I recently "reset" my check engine light by disconnecting the battery for about a half hour. Took a terminal connection off and went and watched a (tv) sitcom. The light was off when I reconnected and drove off.
Jeep does not use inertia/reset switches.The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.
Replacing the calipers are pretty simple. just take the wheel off and its right there. Two bolts and its off. Calipers are not something that usually has a problem.
