How do you take off the water pump on a 1999 saab 95 se?
yes you do i had to take mine off when i replaced my water pump
95 Grand AM V6 water pump is fairly easy. You have to take the serpentine belt off. The water pump pully has 4 bolts in it take them out the pully slides off and there are 4 more bolts that hold the water pump in take those out and the water pump slides out.
Remove battery. Remove left engine brace. Remove serpentine belt. Take off water pump pulley. Take off water pump! This was the easiest water pump I ever replaced.
to change the water pump loosen all the pulley bolts, then take the belt off. after you get the pulley comletely off, there will be 5 more bolts. take them off and the water pump will come off. you might have to tap alittle.
Not sure on a '94, but on a '90 w/ a 1.6 you just remove the pulley bolts on the water pump, take off the pulley and belt, remove the thermostat housing on the side of the water pump, and then remove the water pump bolts. After that you can take off the water pump.
You take it to the shop. You have to take off the timing belt to do the water pump
Answerwell if it is in a 95 you have to take off the coil pack then the power steering pump then take of the bolts on the water pump
take the belt off by using a 3/8 ratchet and by turning the water pump wheel you have 4 bolts too take off 10 mm ratchet and the water pump is off
It's built into the water pump. You have to replace the water pump.
Take off your belt. Take off the fan. take off water hoses on pump. Unscrew all bolts on water pump. There are many. Put new pump in the same spot . Put silicone sealer on all of the connecting metal of the new pump. Place the new pump on and bolt it back up again. Wait a while for the silicone to set and dry.
