It's not too hard unless you have the problem I had. After you remove the long bolt at the top it is time to carefully pull forward the light assembly. My problem, as I would later learn, was that the protruding round steel balls, all 3 of them, were kind of rusty and were very difficult to puu out from the plastic sockets. My 2003 had only 55,000 miles on it, but had seen 5 New York winters. After I manages to get the headlights out I carefully sanded the steel with 320 sandpaper and put some grease on it. Coincidentally I had to remove one of the lights just days later and it came out very well. The reason I had originally had reason to remove the headlights was to upgrade the bulbs.
