I have the S081 which i bought for my 2 youngsters...But i think the strap will be the same...

Look on the back and there will be direction arrows / This is the way the pin will remove and there is what looks like a pin head ?... Use a precision screwdriver (Flat head) to wedge in behind the pin and prize in the direction of the arrow (If there are no arrows the prize towards the side of the pin head.

I does take a reasonable amount of pressure but once the pin has moved proud of the strap then pull out with a small pair of liers...The pin is flat and 'L' shaped.

Once this is removed it is quite fiddly but just take your time...there are 2 little stick out lugs on the link locate those through the link holes then just wiggle the link upwards till it releases (It is fiddley and make take a little time but be patient (not like me lol) and try not to use a lot of force in case you bend the link.

Once you have the link out repeat the process on the next link up (This is the one your removing) then carefully connected the strap back together ..Then insert your 'L' shaped pin push till nearly home...You then will probably need some pliers to pop head back into position.

If you want to remove a link from a Michael Kors watch on your own what you will need to do is flip it onto it's side. There you will notice that the links are held in place by pins. You will need to use a special tool in order to remove those links. It is always best to take the watch to a professional to do these things.

Can you supply instructions on shortening a Relic watch band?

Relic watches come with two or three links you can easily remove yourself. Take a look at the band, there should be a few places you can open it. Open all the links that you can (one to two links should come off). If you still need it smaller, you'll need to take it to a Jeweler or a Sears store - they have a tool they use to take off the other links.

How do you adjust the watch band of a puritan watch?

Hi, If your band is the same as mine this is how you do it. My band has little arrows inside each link. The arrow shows the direction that the pins that hold the links together must be moved in to remove the pins and thus the links. To do this take a thumb tack and locate the end of the pin on the side of the band opposite the side that the arrow points to. You need to push very hard to get the pin to move. Once it does move it will stick out on the side Get some plyers and pull the pin the rest of the way out. Once you remove enough pins and links to get the band sized correctly, push the pin back in so that it is oriented the same as it was before. You will need to force the last bit of the pin in place. To do this I used the flat side of a standard screw driver. I hope this helps

How do you adjust the watch band on a Pulsar watch?

On many Pulsar watches there are 5-6 removable links. If you check the back of the band there will be an arrow showing the direction the pin should be pushed to remove it. Use a watch band tool or a small paperclip or stiff wire to push out the pin. two pins must be removed to take out 1 link. (Note the direction the pins are in when removed so they can be reinserted.) When reassembling be sure to push the pins in until they click. Thanks for the above; I managed to take the links out of my new watch in ten minutes. I would warn others, however, that the pins were really quite difficult to shift; to the extent that I began to wonder whether I had followed the instructions correctly! I suggest something stronger than a paper clip may be needed. I used a tapestry needle (thicker and blunter than a standard hand sewing one) clamped in a vice to push the band down onto.

How do you add links to a watch band?

You have to get a needle and a small hammer. You first cut the point of the needle off, and then you place the needle on the end of the pin holding the links together. Once you have punched it completely out add the links needed and add a little oil (cooking oil is fine) to the pin and tap it back in with the hammer. To add to this, it is best to hold the watch steady in a vice or something similar, but put a soft cloth against the edges of the vice to avoid scratching your watch. Best advice would be to take it to the professionals, at your local jewellers, as not all watches are tap out pins.
