I have an estate, so the procedure might be slightly different on a hatchback, but not by much. The rear light cluster is attached via a screw behind the facia panel at the back. You will need to remove the plastic panel in the boot behind the light cluster and unscrew the unit before you can remove it to change the bulb.

open the tailgate ,and at the side of the light cluster you will find a small round pop out plastic disc, behind which is the release screw for the light cluster.
I have recently changed one of mine. All you have to do is lift up the bonnet and where the headlights are go behind them and there will be a simple hinged cap that u can simply pull open. Inside there will be a clip, remove that and out pops the headlight!
push the clip on the right side of the light behind the bumper, then the light just pops out
open the boot you will find 3 screws undo them then ease the cluster away from body then remove the bulb cluster its easy to do
