to take the top off first you must go in to the car and undo the snaps on the support hardward. While your in there you should also bend the spreader bars, which are above the side rear windows. Next you should make sure all zippers are zipped up. Next is the actual taking off of the top. You should start by pulling out the rear window bar. Next start in one of the back corners by pulling down and out and do this around the whole bottem. then undo the snaps that are above the doors. Then finally pull the top out of the windshield grove and your top is off. Now to take the hardward off you must pull the bars that are above the doors out. Then fold the two U bars together then slide the whole assembly out the back of the car. there u go no top.
question?how do i just fold it down 'convertable' style for storage in a 'boot' bag?i know it can be done as a friend does it(same year)
A hard top or soft top?
ATF +4 for an automatic.
It is not recommended that you take a Jeep Wrangler through a touchless car wash with the soft top on the Wrangler. You can go through the car wash with the hard top.

This is the dumbest question ever. Of course you can. Why would you be able to take the windows off if you couldn't drive like that?
