In order to take a back off of a Kahuna watch, you must use a small Phillip's screwdriver and remove the tiny screws keeping the back in place. Once you have accomplished that, the back should easily slide off.

Theoretically you can twist off the back using a watch case opener, but the one I am working on right now seems so old and corroded, it won't twist off. You do have to take out the strap pins and remove the band from the watch to twist off the back.
There should be four very small screws. You may have to go to a hardware store to get the appropiate screwdriver, but once you take them off you only need to pop the backing off and you're done.
Put on your seatbelt. Now if the sensor is defective, take it back to the dealer. It is under warranty.

I used a small screwdriver to turn the whole back plate counterclockwise. There are six grooves on the back plate. Just pick one and turn it with the screwdriver.
I have found that Home Depot carries an efficient high speed grinder that will take the back off of any watch in mere seconds! It is also very good at removing those annoying fingerprints the police keep asking you for, so be careful. Good Luck....Sincerely, Stubby

Watch how you take them off and put them back on the same way. Then you have to bleed them since there drum brakes
mine is a spin off back had to use needle nose pliers and spin the back on and off using the tips of pliers and the notches in the back
