Behind the passenger side head light. actually, it's below that headlight. take the headlight out and cut a 2" x" 2 square out of the thick plastic from the bottom. you'll see it.
The fan relay on a 1996 Cavalier should be in the relay box. It is mounted on the drivers side, near the headlight.
the radiator fan relay is located behind the headlight on the drivers side
It's under the front right headlight, need to remove headlight assembly and cut hole to get to relay, which is under the plastic frame that holds headlight assembly. The other option is to remove the front bumper assembly to access. If the relay repeatedly fails the fan motor will need replaced.
Where is the cool fan relay on a dodge stratus and how do you replace it
In the vicinity of the passenger headlight.
Underneath the driver front headlight. The Relay is called a 'RDI' One for each fan
The fan relay is actually behind the passenger side headlight, in front of the fuse box. You need to remove the headlight in order to get to the relay. This just happened to my 99 jeep grand Cherokee yesturday lol.
The radiator fan relay has failed. The relay is under the front bumper cover under the right front headlight. The easyist way to access the relay is to remove right front headlight and drill a 1.5 inch hole to remove. Otherwise the entire front bumper has to be removed.
Behind the headlight on the drivers side
behind the headlight on the drivers side
behind the passenger side headlight
It's the Fan Relay. I came here trying to find out why I have to replace mine so often. In my Jeep it is on the wheel well behind the headlight on the passenger side. When you pop out the headlight you are looking at a black plastic piece in the negative shape of your headlight. Cut a square hole in the center. Behind that attached with 2 hex screws you will find the relay. If it is a Jeep you will be replacing it often so don't worry about cutting the hole. It makes life easy. I have replace it at least four times. I have it down to less than 5 minutes.
