Take off the hose clamps under the hood on the passenger side (the only 2 hoses that are like a few inches apart on the fire wall). remove the glove box door, and the heater core cover. out with the old, in with the new!

Take it to a mechanic and say "will you fix the heater core?"
The Heater Core will be located behind the dash. Hope that Helps.
On my 1994 Ranger, the heater core is directly underneath the glove box. All you do is crawl underneath the glove box, losen 4 screws in plastic housing, and pull the housing off. Make sure to losen to hoses underneath the hood located on the firewall to drain the antifreeze. Once this is done pull out the heater core. Mine was fairly easy and took under an hour. I hope this helps somebody. 1993 and 1994 Ford Rangers have the easy out Heater core anything after you have to take the entire console out with the dash.
Replace it with a new one.
your power control module is under the hood on the passengers side on the firewall right above the heater core hoses

Remove the water supply lines from your 1990 Ford E3 50 heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new heater core.
The dash has to be removed to gain access to the heater box. The heater box then comes out and is split open to replace the core.
Do you mean the heater CORE? If so it is located passenger side, firewall, inside the cabin.
