OK in my 1998 or most of the accents from 1995 to 1999. pull out your ash tray and there if you look you should see 2 screws. remove them and the dash unit should pop right off. BUT DONT PULL TO HARD. the wires MAINLY THE HAZZEREDS dont have much lee-way back there so un clip any that you can for more room. and its a bytch but for even mort room on the back of that dash unit u just pulled out there are 4 screws for the ac controls take them off and you will have all the room you need! and then in mine i have a after market radio so your screw placement might be different. but with a littel searching you should find them they are most likely underneath!! ok peace man im me if ya need any thng else ImpurestOfHearts@aol.com
