first you pop of the plastic covers on both sides of the dash, on passenger side and drivers side. to do this you can use a flat head screw driver.
then there are little bults that need to be removed. there easy to spot when you remove the sides of the dash, but the others are located in the glove compartment. there little black ones except for two way up in the glove compartment which are goldish.
you also have to pop off the dash vent that's toward the front of the car. it has a screw holding it and once removed there are yet more black screws. these screws have little clamps that they screw into.DO NOT DROP IN VENT!!! its nearly impossible to get out.
once all the screws are removed the dash has little wedge brackets holding it on. start pulling on the gap below the radio but becarefull not to break the clamps.
Chevy for some reason had the bright idea to bolt and screw everything together so there is alot of screws and bolts. when i took of mine i forgot where some went and didn't wanna take it all apart again to find out what they went to so i just left them. the clamps do there job pretty well and i haven't heard any raddling so missing a couple of screws should be fine.
