Talk to him with his friends. Bring some of your friends too to ease the awkwardness. If you're not comfortable with that, pull him aside (but don't be awkward!). If you've never met him, add him on Facebook and message him! That's a quick and easy way to see if he's interested and exchange numbers and whatnot. :) And if he's not interested, only you and him will know and that will prevent embarrassment.
