Hold a pile of textbooks in your hands and get somewhere nearby him. Next you pretend to trip and drop everything on the floor in front of him. Hopefully he will help you pick up your things. If the wrong person helps you or if no one sees you, just try again another day. I've seen this maneuver work to great effect in various motion picture adventures.

The simplest and easiest way to get a guy to like you is to talk to him. Say hi when you see him in the hallways. Or get a friend to introduce him to you. Communicate with him in some way.
