I think the white stuff on his ankle is like athletic tape. The tape is usually used to secure the shinpads and keep them slightly higher off the ankle, freeing up the ankle for easier movement and allowing for Ronaldo to show all his skills. It would, though, increase his risk of ankle injury.
super glue and duct tape.
It's just regular ankle wrap just in color.
you could take some little canvas bags and fill them with about 5 pounds of birdshot and tape them onto a your ankle??? or go to walmart and buy some for 14 bucks...
Once an athlete starts to walk around it starts loosening up. Even though they loosen up they still provide support to the ankle.
Yes and no. I have known many girls who have still injured their ankles playing while wearing braces. However that could possibly be because of the brand or quality. I personally don't wear them.
How to wrap an ankle in sports depends on the kind of injury, if it is a sprain you probably want to wrap pre-wrap around your ankle and the bottom of your foot and your ankle. Then you want to take some heavy-duty athletic tape and cover the area that you pre-wrapped, wrapping the tape around your ankle and under your foot.
she sprained her ankle but she didnt have to miss any tna tapings since they tape 2 weeks worth of shows in one night.
The best way to relieve ankle pain is to put a cold compress on it for about 30 minutes and then switch to a hot compress for another 30 minutes. Soak the ankle in warm bath salt before wrapping with an ace bandage or athletic tape.
I cut the cord off an old phone charger and used electrical tape to wrap it around my ankle for a Lindsay Lohan halloween costume.
If this just happened, ice-pack it for 30 minutes before bandaging. If you're using tape to immobilze or brace, here's what you do: * Use 1" or 2" tape, if you can. * Tape first from just above the ankle, down the leg and wrap under the heel -- then back up the other side of the leg, so the first bandage runs parallel to the leg and wraps under the heel. * Next, tape from the side of the foot back wrap around the heel, and up the other side of the foot. This piece of tape is parallel to the foot and at right angles (perpendicular) to the first piece of tape. * Repeat this process so there are 4 pieces of tape in each direction -- a total of 8 peices of tape. Vertical, horizontal... vertical, horizontal, and so on. * Finish by running a circle of tape around the ends of the other tape so they won't come off easily (two circles because there are two places where tape ends show). * Make certain that the tape isn't reducing circulation. If you're using an Ace Bandage, KoBan, or elastic wrap: * make a circle around the instep of the foot, so that the bandage overlaps itself and stays in place. * Now, wrap a circle around the ankle. * Repeat until you've used the entire bandage. Be very careful not to stop blood circulation. * Secure the bandage around the ankle. Check frequently for circulation. Personally, I prefer the elestic wraps if the victim has to walk (if you're backcountry hiking for instance), as they flex and are less likely to trip the victim, causing a fall. The tape method, however, has worked for years and is better for immobilization.
