what i found easiest was to get it some treats then tell it to lie down.most like ly it wont...UNDERSTANDABLE!then tell it again & if it doesnt get a hold of its legs & guide till its in a lying position.then give it a treat and repeat steps.eventually itll become keen enough & do it without getting a treat. Remember:patience, consistency, and make sure you have a symbol it reckongnizes as to lie down.
Don't do it! -I did it, but my puppy was just... a liar!

The simple answer is you keep them separated when you are not there. Introduce them when you are and teach the dog to accept the puppy.
Get a puppy pad and odour remover for when it goes on the floor. Eventually move the puppy pad outside.
train him to come
Teach it to 'stay'.

To teach your puppy to ring a bell to signal when they need to go outside, follow these steps: Hang a bell by the door at your puppy's nose level. Every time you take your puppy outside, encourage them to touch or ring the bell with their nose or paw. Praise and reward your puppy with a treat or praise every time they ring the bell. Be consistent and patient with the training process, and your puppy will learn to associate ringing the bell with going outside to potty.
