simple u just take him/her away from friends for a minute and let him/her know how u feel and since he/she is probably a geek he/she would like u back..but bcareful! he/she might play hard to get and might ruin ur rep if he/she denys his/her love or ur asking him/her out.. =-) so let a friend find out if that person likes u.. I was a nerd for a long time, not a geek though(a geek is a computer "nut" or "fanatic", a nerd is simply an outcast usually). I was very shy, and I met my gf by pure chance through a friend. I met her a few months ago, and I am 20 years old. No girls ever took the initiative to say anything to me throughout grade school and high school and because of that I never dated. I never hung out with girls, EVER, and only do now after I met my gf. I now hang out with girls much more often than guys. My point is this: geeks/nerds are shy, but they do have much deeper feelings than most. These guys will treat you right, and truly respect you for who you are. As for telling them, you can be upfront or sly. The upfront way is to pull them aside somewhere and tell them that you like being with them and ask if they feel the same way. The sly way is to hang around them as much as possible, and drop hints now and again. Give them a hug after a long day together doing something, or be extra friendly around them. Trust me, they will notice even if they don't say anything. The biggest thing is to take the initiative: if you like them, tell them! Don't be afraid of rejection. If you are honest then things will work out the way they should, and I am sure they will return the favor. Good luck!
