It first depends on what toad you have, but lets example this with an American Toad. A young or baby Amaerican Toad is about the sizer of one or two quarters. A juvenile is about as bif as your thumb. Both male and female American Toads as juveniles somewhat have the same color, rusty or brown. But the male will have BARELY a bit of green on his back. As an adult, females are as big as your hand, while a male is half that size.
