Clutch wear can be told by noticing no wheel spin when the engine revs are higher than they should be for the speed you are going. Make sure your foot is off the clutch.
Thrust bearing wear on the shaft make a sound when you engage or disengage the clutch. You may also feel the oddness in the pedal when the noise occurs.
Go to someone who has a diagnostic meter , they will be able to tell you what is causing the problem, it is usually a sensor.
a failing clutch will slip,in 4th or 5th if you floor it the engine will speed up without the car going faster
Leaking around water pump mounting or shaft Play in shaft
this is usually caused by one of 3 sensors, the 2 lambda sensors or the temperature switch, any one of those could be faulty giving the ecu false reading causing the car to run rich. get a diagnostic check done it will tell you if this is the case and which is the problem.
We need more info here. How do you tell if the clutch has "WHAT" in a Pontiac Sunfire?
there is not a dipstick in the 2001 nubria. the owners manual will tell you to bring to a daewoo certified machinanic to have it checked
Which model and engine ? I can tell you about 1.5 16V
You can tell by how much higher the clutch pedal is to the brake pedal. when new pedals are at the same height.
Anyplace that sells batteries can tell you the correct size.
start it and try to put it in gear without using the clutch if it goes the clutch is shot
My car is going through the same issue with the A/C. You CAN replace the compressor clutch without replacing the compressor, but the caveat is that you can't tell if the compressor is any good without a clutch. So basically you are gambling that the compressor will still be good by only replacing the clutch. Hope this helps!
please tell me how to replace clutch on my 2004 Kia optimia
