The easiest way is to listen for it when you turn the key on. Start by being in a quiet place, radio off, door closed (so chimes aren't making noise) and trunk open. Turn the key to on (not start) and listen for a low growling sound that lasts about 3 to 5 seconds. If it growls your fuel pump is trying to work and has sent enough fuel to the injectors to get you started. If no growl you either have a bad pump or pump relay, broken wire or a bad fuse. If your fuel pump is getting weak you may be able to drive it OK but have trouble starting it when it is warmed up. You should also check that the fuel filter is clean and allowing fuel to pass to the engine. Also, as simple as it sounds, make sure the fuel cap is on at least three clicks. If it is loose the tank will not pressurize enough to allow your fuel pump to work properly. Good luck.
To reset the oil warning light on a 2008 Chrysler Sebring, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Slowly push the accelerator down three times. Next, turn the ignition to the lock position and the warning light should be gone.
I owned a 97 sebring with the 2.5L v6 and it didnt have a mass air flow sensor. There is a lot of vaccum system on that motor so check your vaccum hoses for any leaks. Maybe your pcv valve has gone bad and is running oil into your vaccum system? one pinhole vaccum leak on that car can cause it to run rough or stall out.
If you've recently had the battery disconnected for any reason, it takes my 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXI about 30 miles of travel to reset. It bucks and jumps until I've gone about 25-30 miles of travel and then it smooths back out. This had happened everytime I've had the battery disconnected for repair work or change of battery. The dealer may have some new software for the transmission to correct that harsh downshift.
The plug tube o ring seals inside the valve cover have gone bad.
heater motor is gone
It means there is a fault in the fuel system or something that controls the fuel system. A quick check is to disconnect one of fuel supply lines at the front of the injector fuel rails and see if fuel is being pumped to the rails when you crank the engine (have something prepared to catch the fuel). If no fuel flow, it is a fuel supply problem (see below). If fuel is getting there you could have a computer that controls the injectors that went bad. (So sorry). For fuel supply, this could be a pump relay, a main relay, a wiring problem or the fuel pump has gone bad. Start with the inertia relay (black box on r. door hinge post. Should be pushed down. Then go to main relay and then pump relay. If power from the pump relay to the fuel pump (located in the gas tank) and power at the fuel pump, your fuel pump has gone bad.
Because the Fan Motor have gone out.
No, of course not. The fuel pump supplies fuel to the engine. The engine will not run without a supply of fuel.
Likely nothing. Chrysler has gone bankrupt twice since then and currently does not have publicly traded stock.
check it
No, it is a fossil fuel. Once it is used, it is gone.
the powered lock actuator has gone bad. happened to two of my doors.
