You could also remove any floor registers and see if they are surrounded by concrete, or you could drill an inconspicuous hole in the floor in the corner of a closet. If the non-masonry drill bit fails to penetrate more than 3/4", or you're bringing up small amounts of powder with maximum effort, then it's probably concrete.
