Is alto higher than bass and treble?

When you are speaking of singing voices, the usual four are (from high to low) soprano, alto, tenor and bass. So alto does sing higher than bass. When you are speaking of written staffs, the two staffs are treble (higher) and bass (lower). An alto singing part is typically written on the treble staff; but the alto range extends down (using ledger lines below the staff) into notes that can also be written on the bass staff.

And with his stripes (chorus) All we like sheep (chorus) All they that see him laugh him to scorn (bass recitation) He trusted in God (chorus) --- one of the best bass parts in the whole piece, and it fits well that this follows the bassist's first solo thy rebuke hath broken his heart (tenor or soprano recitation) behold and see (tenor or soprano recitation) he was cut off (tenor or soprano recitation) but thou didst not leave his soul in hell (air for tenor or soprano) Lift up your heads (chorus) unto which of the angels said he at any time (tenor recitation) let all the angels of God worship Him (chorus) thou art gone up on high (air for alto or soprano *version 1 alto version 2 soprano) the lord gave the word (chorus) how beautiful are the feet (aria for soprano) their sound is gone out (chorus) why do the nations rage (air for bass) ---the orchestra part on this is amazing let us break their bonds asunder (chorus) He that dwelleth in heaven (tenor recitation) thou shalt break them (air for tenor) hallelujah (chorus) end of part 2 part 3 i know that my redeemer liveth (air for soprano) --- Maria Jette sang this solo for us two years ago, her voice was so smooth that our conductor shivered mid performance with the biggest smile on his face. the audience has never seemed so quiet as when she was singing this piece. i am getting off topic, but I got chills just recalling it right now since by man came death (chorus) another goose bump giver behold i tell you a mystery (bass recitation) the Trumpet shall sound (air for bassist) then shall be brought to pass (alto recitative) o death where is thy sting? (duet alto and tenor) but thanks be to God (chorus) if God be for us (air for soprano or alto *version 1 soprano version 2 alto) worthy is the lamb that was slain / Amen (chorus) end of part 3 there you have it. that is all 53 songs (or pieces) in handel's messiah. I believe my choir performs 49 of them, leaving out two solos, the duet, and one chorus.

Is Taylor Swift a soprano?

Yes, if not she is at least a mezzo soprano. She kinda talk sings it's hard to tell. But she sounds like a mezzo-soprano which is in between alto & soprano. An example of a soprano would be someone who can't go low, but can go high like Ariana Grande.

Is Lady Gaga an soprano mezzo soprano or alto?

She would be classified as aMezzo-Soprano because for the following reasons: 1. Her voice ( compared to Christina Aguilera's voice) even though sounds like Christina Aguilera, Christina has a full voice from her upper register typical for a soprano (G3-C5) based on listening to all of her songs from the first album to her latest. Lady GaGa has her full voice in the typical mezzo-soprano range (G3-D4). 2. Even though Alto is not a voice type, mezzo-sopranos and alto are pretty much the same in range, but she is not a contralto (appropriate name for the lower alto part) because her tessitura (voice quality and sound) is not deep enough to qualify her as a contralto. 3. Also take into account that sometimes her notes are modify to sound clearer, but she is really using AutoTunes since the product is designed to help singers stay on pitch, so do not rely on her singing based on her songs heard on the radios. For example, T-Pain has a tenor voice (probably appropriately a heldentenor), but cannot truly tell since Autotunes corrects the pitch which makes it hard to tell if he is comfortable singing the typical tenor notes. My best answers = a mezzo-soprano. Her voice is darker in vocal quality, and her range is not high enough to be a soprano or in full voice in her upper register. Also, not a typical alto (contralto to be correct) since her voice is not the same tessitura as a typical tenor.

How can you learn to sing high notes I am a really good singer or so people tell me but i want to learn how to sing those high notes that singers sing like the ones were they like kinda yell?

Yes, it's possible. First, you must know what your vocal range is. I don't know if you are a boy or a girl but if you are male you could be a bass or a tenor, if you're a female, you are likely an alto or a soprano. If you are a soprano (it also works with an alto), you must open your mouth really wide and take a lot of air. and you will have the sound. Remember, open your mouth, and it is not about yelling, it is about taking good enough air so you can reach that note.

What are all the different types of clarinet?

There is 4 types of clarinet, the regular clarinet is the smallest and is the most popular. The alto clarinet is curved like a saxophone and slightly deeper than the regular clarinet. The bass is shaped like the alto clarinet but is bigger and deeper still. Last but not least the contrabass clarinet is the biggest of all the clarinets, shaped like the alto and bass clarinet and it's sound is very low.

How do you know if you're a Soprano or Alto?

By your vocal range. The alto part in choral music tends to range from the G below middle C to a "high F" (the F above the C above middle C). The soprano part tends to range from middle C to "high A." Whichever of these ranges you're most comfortable in will tell you what you are.

What is the purpose of clef signs?

The clefs are used to tell what register the music is to be played in. Treble is to be played in a higher register, alto and tenor are the middle registers and bass is the low register. These are the four main clefs used, however, the clefs that are mainly seen in music are the treble and bass clef. The clefs also determine where the notes are placed. The treble clef is also known as the 'G' clef as it starts on the G line of the stave (as given by a treble clef). The bass clef starts on the 'F' line of the stave (as given by the bass clef).

What vocal range does the tATu girls have?

Well, I don't know about vocal range. I'm sure they did not use all their vocal range in the songs. But I can tell you that, actually, Lena Katina is a Soprano and Julia an alto, or at least I think Julia is an alto, cuz her voice is, actually, husky and with a darker timbre, I'm sure she can reach good low notes. I'm sorry, I can't help you more =X
