Two wheel abs will only have wheel speed sensors in the rear. Four wheel abs will have wheel speed sensors at all four wheels.
On the 1998 Ford Ranger , rear ABS brakes were standard on the XL and XLT 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel ABS was an option on the 2 wheel drive models. The more expensive 4x4 XLT version came with 4 wheel ABS according to my Consumer Guide book - Helpfull My Ranger does have 4 wheel ABS.
First you need to know if the vehicle has 4 wheel or 2 wheel ABS. If its 4 wheel you will have 1 at each front brake rotor and 1 at the top of the rear differential housing. If its 2 wheel ABS it will only have the rear sensor on the diff. First you need to know if the vehicle has 4 wheel or 2 wheel ABS. Look on inside of front wheels, if it has front ABS you should see a wire going to wheel in addition to rigid brake line

The majority of the time, this is due to a problem with the wheel sensor. On 4-wheel ABS there are 4 sensors, 2 on 2-wheel ABS. I would suggest making sure these were not disconnected or damaged.
Starting in 1994 the Ram 1500 could be either two wheel or four wheel abs. The 1993 and before D150 was rear wheel only.
If you have a 1995 Ford Bronco, you have ABS. In fact, you more than likely have 4-wheel ABS.
