How do you tell if your pet rock is dying or dead?

a pet rock is never really alive, but using your imagination it can become alive.

step 1 find a nice rock: any rock will do, just make sure you can paint on it well.

step 2 paint or markers: or anything that could color in eyes, mouth, nose, or even ears.

step 3 be creative: add anything else in, glue on felt for hair, or something else.

step 4 give it a name, and some other things: name your pet rock, then choose a gender, did i forget something? OH it's personality! write down all its information on a piece of paper, this can be its adoption certificate.

step 5 the basics: feed it, what do i feed it with? crushed pebbles of course! yes, this sounds like cannibalism, but rocks don't think that way, crush it with a hammer into little pieces, the rocks won't actually eat it, but that is what imagination is for.

your pet rock cannot actually die but, lets say you drop it and it cracks, this means it is severely hurt, take care of it, however rocks cannot heal, so put something on it to cover it up, bandages, paint, or even a little concrete =D

how do you tell if your pet rock is dead

again, pet rocks do not die but, lets say you drop it and it breaks in two! i consider that a dead rock, but if you are really attatched to the rock, consider putting it in surgery (concrete to stick it back together) (or duck tape =P) once it is finished, it may look a little weird, but if you are really attatched to the rock then it shouldn't matter, however, if your rock is broken to severely, the best thing to do is bury it in your lawn, stick a sign or something that says, R.I.P (name of rock) or you can say something creative like, in memory of (rock's name) or, i'll miss you (rock's name)
