I believe "Domestic" is/was a brand name manufacturer of sewing machines, i.e., a competitor of the "Singer" company.
Your best shot is to find the serial number somewhere on the machine, then do an on-line search for that brand of sewing machine. If you find one, it may well have serial number/date of manufacture tables listed.
I HAVE A JONES VX890 SEWING MACHINE. CAN YOU TELL ME WHA SETTING THE TENSION KNOB ABOVE THE NEEDLE SHOULD BE AT AND WHAT NUMBER THE KNOB ON THE RIGHT SHOULD BE. I ONLY WANT TO DO STRAIGHT STITCHING NO FANCIES.
Have a sewing machine to look at while you are drawing it. If a real sewing machine is not available, search up an image of one to look at and take it from there. Observation of an object will tell you what to put in your drawing. Remember, while drawing; if you can't see something because it is hidden behind--don't include it in your picture. Get a pencil and some paper
Your sewing machine was made in 1924 in Elizabeth, New Jersey I do not know the value of the machine, but I can tell you it depends on the condition of the machine, the condition of the cabinet, and the buyer. A collector might pay top dollar, but most collectors want old, old machines.
www.ismacs.net/Singer/singerdates.ht that will tell you. hope it helps
You can look up the serial number on the ISMACS International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society web site and that will tell you. They have all kinds of info including free down loads for manuals.

can you tell me what a sears challengesewin machine is worth mode 32/607
Only a reputable dealer can tell you the worth of any machine. It all depends on how rare it is and what condition it is in. If you can find your machine on an online auction such as ebay, you can see similar prices.
