Actually... that's not accurate.
Males tend to be really aggressive towards their nest or territory. And one way to tell a male crocodile from a female one is to stick your finger inside its cloaca.

∙ 14y agoMost scientist study a particular crocodile that has been tagged so they can tell it apart from the others. They study the behavior of the crocodile for hours maybe days before they identify it. Male crocodiles tend to be more defensive around humans and crocodiles than the females, the females won't let anything come within 15 feet of it. Another way people find out if you don't feel like staring at a crocodile is get a true animal lover to find out, we can figure male or female just from the way the eyes shine on any animal.
