Exel Arms of America imported Spanish shotguns until 1967. All of the Lanber Armas O/U guns were 12 gauge 2-3/4" or 3". The Laurona O/U snd S/S came in 12, 16, & 20. There should be markings on the side of the barrel somewhere. If in doubt, take it to a reputable gunsmith.
It should be marked on the barrels near the breach.
Sure can't tell over the internet without a lot more information. The model name or number is PROBABLY marked on the barrel or receiver. If it isn't there I might be able to help if you describe the gun and tell everything that is marked. Or you can look for it in The Standard Catalog of Firearms.
It will be marked on the receiver. It was made in 1980
The barrel will be marked "Made in Belgium"
Sounds like a store brand name. Usually inexepensive and not worth more than hanging on a wall.
it.s an early 50s model...semi automatic shotgun..
I can tell you that with the Western Field name, it's not a Browning product. This was a trade name used by Montgomery Ward. It may be marked with a Browning patent, but was probably made by Stevens/Savage.
They are not marked, you can tell by the serial no. (well an looks ;)
In order for me to answer your question,I will need some more information from you.First is this shotgun a semi-auto,pump action,or over-under shotgun.I will need the model of shotgun. Then add the shotguns gauge(12 gauge,16 gauge,20 gauge)? I will need the serial number of your shotgun to date the year of manufacture. If you provide this info,I can then tell you how old your Browning shotgun is.
Sorry- that is a serial number, and conveys no information. If the barrel is not marked, you need to take it to a gunsmith who will measure the chamber- not only for gauge, but for the correct shell length. Just because an unfired shell fits does not mean it is the correct shell. And it is not a rifle, but a shotgun.
No
