Manual transmission is a stick shift. You have to manually change the gears using the shifter and the clutch.
Tell me the year, and I'll tell you what you got.
Any of the Ford dealers can tell you this. Your owners manual also has all fluid levels for the vehicle. Ask where you have your truck serviced. Look at the linked ads below this answer.
Look at the gear stick, if its auto then you have an auto transmission, if its manual you have a manual transmission.
the best thing for you to do is go to your local Parts House and pick up a service manual on your truck. It will tell you how to go about removing and replacing your tranny.
you need to be more specific... what kinda leak is it?? most likely engine oil or transmission oil, check on your dipstick and make sure the engine is at proper level, to check the transmission you have to crawl under the truck and remove a plug on the side of it. also how is the truck running rough??
It will be a 4L60E if it's an automatic.
SAE 75W 90 should tell you in owners manual
You can on some vehicles but check with your manual if its ok and see what is recomended, if not ask dealer or you can tell me what car you have and i will tell you if its ok to use atf or not. In my celica i cant use atf
Your owners manual will tell you.
owners manual will tell you
Assuming this is an automatic transmission, pull the dipstick out and read it, it will tell you the proper ATF to use.
