If a pressure type brake fluid dispenser is available attach it to the top of the master cylinder. Other wise fill the master cylinder, start with the wheel cylinder that is furthermost from the master, and bleed until fluid comes out clean and free from bubbles. make sure to replenish the the master cylinder as needed. then proceed to the next farther wheel cylinder and repeat with the rest of the wheel cylinders. top off the master cylinder. Test with the engine off then with the engine running before driving.
Remove the clevis pin from the pedal the remove the master cyl from the bulkhead A quick way to test the cylinder is clamp the flexible hose that leads to the slave cylinder when the hose is clamped, the clutch pedal should be solid.
Hydraulic cylinders can be tested dynamically by connecting the test cylinder with a master cylinder mounted within a rigid frame structure. Usually the test cylinder is operated with a hydraulic power source and the master cylinder is loaded with relief and check valves connected to the ports. Such back to back test loads the total cylinder components including the Rod, tube, Gland ,seals ,mounting parts etc and can reveal many parameters which cannot be seen in the conventional end to end load test. Similar set up can be also used for life cycle test extending to millions of full load cycles.
The most common way to test this is,at a stop with your foot on the brake, the pedal will very slowly go to the floor, there is a test for this but you need to be good at auto repair.
Go to new york to take my test for master plumbing
It takes longer this way, but you can crack open the bleeder valves on all four wheels then remove the master cylinder cap and fill with break fluid, keep an eye on the bleeder valves and when they start dripping shut then off as they drip. Refill and replace the master cylinder and cap then bring the engine up to temp. Don't go anywhere yet. Test the brakes with a smooth push of the break pedal, easy does it and you may have pump them up. Now shut down the engine open the master cylinder and wait until the engine compartment cools down to ambient temp.. Then refill and replace master cylinder cap and repeat, sometimes you have to wait overnight for the air to migrate up to the master cylinder. I have had to do it this way when I had no one around to help, good luck, jja
Coil not getting juice/bad coil(s). Check wires with test light for current.
There should be a single wire with a green connector on the end located by the master cylinder. put 12 volts to that wire and the fuel pump should run
