Coil not getting juice/bad coil(s). Check wires with test light for current.
First you need to test the leads going to the coil to make sure you have juice. If that is ok. before you go and buy a new coil, find a coil wire or a spark plug wire and test it to see if it sparks, if no spark it is probably your coil. There are ways to test the coil indepth with a multi meter, I have never tried it only read about it in a few of my haynes/chilton's manuals.
use an multimeter to check the resistance between 1-4 and 2-3 on the coil pack, u should get around the same figures.
Yes, the coil does not affect a pregnancy test.
You cannot test it with a diagram. You will need a multimeter to test the coil. Click the link.
there is nothing to test a coil is just a peice of metal rapped in circles
1999 Alero how do i test ignition coil pack
It's probably bad wiring somewhere and you need to test the coil connectors for power and try to trace the flaky wiring. It's a pain I know.
Take off the modual and coil pack take it to autozone they will test it free.
There is no ignition module in a '84 laser. They have a coil and distributor unless it has been modified. If you don't get a spark across the points in the distributor when you try to start the engine you probably need a new coil.
Could be a vacuum leak Could be a bad spark plug or wire Could be a bad valve (do a compression test) Coild be a bad coil if equipped with COP (Coil on Plug)
